CISD is seeking an additional mental health counselor for its K-12 campus. In addition to providing direct counseling to individual students, responsibilities may include facilitating guidance lessons to students at all grade levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and respect for confidentiality, as well as tremendous flexibility, organization skills, and technological proficiency. A certified guidance counselor is preferred, but a certified mental health counselor or social worker will be considered as well.

This position is funded by a school based mental health grant from the Kentucky Department of Education. The salary will be dependent on the level of education and experience of the selected candidate (following the certified salary schedule). The number of contract days will not exceed 66. The schedule is 7:30 to 3:00 on Mondays and Fridays when students are in school.

CISD is looking for substitute teachers.  At a minimum, candidates must have 64 college credit hours with a 2.5 GPA and pass a criminal background check.

Substitute teachers work from 7:30 to 3:00 and are expected to maintain safety and order in the classroom while following the teacher's lesson plans each day.

CISD is looking for substitute bus drivers. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, satisfactory work history, and pass a criminal background check. Paid CDL training will be provided by the school district.
